Chronicle of a birth
Tuesday 13th of July, 2010. Early in the morning.
After a stormy night spent awake, I told Tony it’s pretty sure that he won’t be going to the office in the morning. He prepared himself in no time: put some clothes on, got his camera, phone, took my bag and we both jumped in the car. A few minutes later we arrived at the hospital. There it was already crowded. The nurse said that the wind seems to be bringing a lot of kids today .. In anyway, we got a priority check-in.
Once the real pain started, I could hardly recall what happened until Emma was actually born.
I remember Tony helping me while I was breathing my way through all the contractions. In the same time he managed to take photos and also broadcast the birth progress live on twitter .. A couple of days later, I went through his twitter stream and I have to admit - it really made me laugh!
So, for everyone who is not following Tony on twitter, here once again the chronicle of Emma’s Birth:
